CALAMITY

A Minecraft roleplay vampire/horror SMP made up of 16 players who must fight for their survival to leave Palehurst.Scores of refugees have arrived in Palehurst, a long-since abandoned town, in hopes of shelter from the nuclear winter and anarchy that has plagued the world for decades. However, when they arrive, it seems that they are not the only things ‘living’ there. Overrun by creatures of the night, cryptids only told of in fairytales, and trapped by these mysterious holy beacons, these settlers have to step up and fight for their new home; but whether that’s against the monsters outside the walls of Palehurst or their very own neighbors, is where the line is blurred.

His old home of Rivermead was destroyed by monsters of the old world's (before the bombs) creation, causing him to wander through the forest for weeks before finding Palehurst. He was a scavenger and mechanic who worked to keep machines running.

general backstory:
As a child Clay had always had weird experiences happen, as they grew their fixation on learning more about ghosts and proving they are real had caused them to be an outcast and labeled weird by the townsfolk. As they would walk down the streets they would get looks and whispers until one day they heard a rumor of a ghost town, everyone that leaves to that place never return the same.. Clay runs away from their parents who desperately wanted them to stay home and be safe but Clay ignoring their warnings of how dangerous the world was to people like them, quickly runs away and goes to travels to this odd place. The rumor was just an excuse to send Clay to their death.

Olivia grew up in the forest with her entire family. Her ten siblings, her cousin, and everyone within their lineage. As the oldest of her ten siblings, she was given the role of Hunter with the task of catching food, killing monsters, and protecting the family. Each of the older cousins had this role but she was the best. After the death of her entire family, due to nuclear poisoning, she began travelling around the world to find somewhere she wouldn’t feel alone. He has been living in the outskirts of Palehurst in an old watch tower near the lake since he and his remaining sibling left their home after ages of trying to make life work there. Sibling is currently MIA and time not spent helping fix the town and keep the residents safe from what lurks in the night is spent with him in the woods, searching for her.
